This Mustang-specific set features hand-polished stainless steel flat wound strings, delivering a glassy smooth feel and classic tone with added subtle brightness, thanks to La Bella’s proprietary ribbon wire. With light tension and a wound length of 34" (including a 1.75" flexible tail), these strings are engineered to fit and perform flawlessly on vintage through-body Mustang basses.

This set is only compatible with vintage-style through-body Mustang basses.
It is not suitable for newer Mustang models with top-loading bridges. For those, use any La Bella short scale set.
Not recommended for use on other 30" scale basses that are strung through the body.
